About Sunset Station Buffet

And then there’s the Sunset Station buffet restaurant, the aptly-named Feast Buffet! Here, you and your family and friends will love the delicious food and drinks, as well as its warm and welcoming vibe. Come and find out more about it.

Brief History

On 10 June 1997, Sunset Station opened its doors to the general public. The hotel and casino resort was touted as a local casino catering to the upscale market, and it has established a reputation along this line to this day, too. Since then, the management has undertaken a few expansion projects, such as the addition of parking structures, increased casino area, and added gaming space.

What They Are Famous For

The food offerings at the Feast Buffet of Sunset Station have been carefully prepared and presented by world-class master chefs resulting in gourmet dishes and desserts. This is a far cry from the general idea that buffets in casinos are so-so but cannot hold a candle to the finer offerings in fine dining restaurants.

The bottom line: Come to the Sunset Station buffet and see why it’s considered worth the trip and the price!

Why Eat Here

Did you know that the Feast Buffet has been voted “Best Brunch” in a readers’ poll conducted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal? This is enough reason to bring your family and friends to Sunset Station! The accolade comes from the buffet restaurant’s wonderful array of delicious food, as well as the affordable Sunset Station buffet prices and the great customer service.

The extensive range of food include dishes inspired by Italian, Chinese and American cuisines, among other international cuisines.  This isn’t surprising for locals because they know that tourists from around the world flock to Las Vegas, so restaurants find it necessary to cater to most of their culinary needs. Nearly every culinary preference can also be accommodated at Feast Buffet, from the meat lovers to the vegans and vegetarians.

The buffet is also open for breakfast and brunch, lunch, and dinner. Whenever you’re hungry, you can always walk into Feast Buffet and satisfy your hunger, especially when you’re planning on hitting the tables, dancing in the clubs, and enjoying the sights.

The breakfast selection will make your mouth water with anticipation! The choices include hot oatmeal with your choice in mix-ins and toppings, omelets and eggs Benedicts, donuts and bagels, potatoes in fried and mashed forms, bacons and sausages, biscuits and gravy, and vegetables from black-eyed beans to collard greens. There are also Mexican-inspired food like rice and beans, Italian-American fare like pizzas and pastas, and salads and soups.

The brunch buffet, especially on Sundays, is so popular among the locals that a 15-minute wait in a line for the food station isn’t unusual. Groups of families and friends come to Feast Buffet during the weekends because of the convenience of dining out and the delicious quality of the food. The food stations offer omelets, stir-fried meats and vegetables, and gelatos, as well as mimosas for the adults.

The lunch and dinner buffets feature filling and flavorful dishes inspired by world cuisines, especially American, Italian, and Chinese. These include turkey breasts, sausages, burgers and hotdogs, and carved ham, as well as the food from the brunch buffet albeit prepared fresh. The menu also includes extra items like wines, beers and frozen drinks so diners have drinks that will quench their thirst and boost their energy for the day’s activities.

The desserts station may have relatively limited offering but it’s still satisfying at the price point. There are bread puddings, carrot cakes, and gelato in different flavors to choose from. Besides, when you’re already full from the appetizers, entrées, and sides, you will agree that desserts become an afterthought, not to mention that you may not have room for sweets.

Many buffet restaurants offer dining deals, such as coupons, but these aren’t necessary at Feast Buffet. The simple reason: Feast Buffet offers exceptional – read: affordable – prices the entire year! If you have a Boarding Pass player’s club card, you will enjoy more discounts, too.  Plus, you can sign up for the player’s card for free, and the process takes just a few minutes.

The pay-as-you-enter scheme applies at Feast Buffet. Before you enter the restaurant, you have to pay at the counter, perhaps include the tip for the servers in your payment. Afterwards, you will be escorted to your table and you will then be free to get your food from the food stations.

Most, if not all, of the wait staff are courteous, efficient, and attentive so dining out was truly a pleasurable experience. Their positive attitude certainly complemented the high quality of the food and drinks, the casual vibe, and the cheery interiors.
