History
Bob Basham, Chris Sullivan, Trudy Cooper and Tim Gannon opened the first Outback Steakhouse in 1988 in Tampa, Florida. These four friends dreamed of having their own restaurant where people can enjoy great foods served by friendly and attentive servers in a casual environment. They have chosen an Australian-inspired themed to suit their idea of laidback but still lively atmosphere of their restaurant. Since then, it has been a chosen place where families and friends go to enjoy good food, fun environment and great service. Today, OS across United States are under the management of OSI Restaurant Partners. Up to date, they are still committed to providing their patrons with consistent high quality delicious foods served in generous portions at a reasonable price.
