History of Logan’s Roadhouse

The restaurant chain initially began in 1991 when the first branch opened in Lexington, Kentucky. Despite being a newcomer to the scene it was quickly growing into one of the most popular restaurants of the South and by 1999 it became a subsidiary of the CBRL Group, which also owned the popular Cracker Barrel chain. Ownership changed hands over the years until Kelso and Company acquired the business in 2010 and have since moved the headquarters to Nashville, Tennessee. To date, there are now over 250 locations in 23 states and counting, further proving that good food doesn’t need to cost a fortune.
