About Del Frisco’s

Del Frisco’s prices are on the high end but this is not surprising since it is a fine dining steakhouse chain.  Known officially as Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, the chain was founded by Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, which is still its owner and operator today. While its flagship restaurants are in New York City specifically in Midtown Manhattan and in Philadelphia, it has 16 other locations in the United States.

History

In 1981, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group was founded as a privately-held corporation. By 2012, it became a publicly-traded corporation (NASDAQ: DFRG) although its focus still remained on fine dining steaks. Aside from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, it also owns and operates Del Frisco’s Grille and Sullivan’s Steakhouse. In 2013, it was ranked 89th in Forbes’ American Best Small List Companies aside from the popularity of its restaurant among Wall Street bankers and traders, thanks to its outstanding service.

What They’re Famous For

Since its inception, Del Frisco’s has strived to represent the rich flavors of the food and the rich traditions of classic steakhouses in America albeit with a contemporary flair. Diners continue to rave about its unparalleled chef-driven menu, large wine list with award-winning bottles, and outstanding hospitality as only a fine dining steakhouse can offer.

Why Eat Here

The Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House is a multi-awarded steakhouse because of its excellence in virtually all aspects of its operations. Among its awards are Open Table’s 2013 Most Booked Boston, Most Booked New England, and Diner’s choice winner; 2011-2012 Top 100 Best Steakhouses in America by Forth Worth, TX Magazine, 2014 Open Table Diner’s Choice in Fort Worth; 2015 Open Table Diner’s Choice Awards; and 2015 Hall of Fame Award from TripAdvisor, to name a few. You will likely immediately fall in love with its restaurants for the following reasons:

  • Luxurious exteriors and interiors, which many consider as among the most elegant and beautiful in the fine dining industry. Even its restrooms are well-appointed with modern amenities.
  • Juicy, succulent and tender steak dishes. Del Frisco only serves the best age USDA Prime Beef cooked to perfection as well as the freshest seafood, vegetables, and fruits for its dishes. You can order your steak in your preferred rare, medium or well-done condition, which you can pair with your preferred wine from the extensive award-winning wine selection.
  • Excellent hospitality from the reception to the wait staff. You will be seated almost as soon as you arrive especially when you come on time for your reservations.
